We've launched an industry survey aimed at engaging the global AEC community on its approach to BIM and data.

We've all heard how the AEC industry is in the midst of an unprecedented "digital transformation". We've read the success stories and watched the conference presentations.

But what is the day-to-day reality actually like for firms and practitioners around the world? How close are we to achieving the promises of "digital transformation"? How much, and how well, are we using the massive amount of data that is now available?

At Kinship, we're big believers in the innovation taking place in construction. And we have plenty of direct evidence to indicate that it's making a difference to firms large and small all across the world. Still, we wanted to find out more of the full story and share that with the industry at large.

So today we've launched our industry "Reality Check" survey. Developed in partnership with digital transformation agency Cogital, the survey aims to engage the global AEC community on its approach to BIM and data. The mission of the survey is to help the diffusion of best practices, to stimulate awareness across different parts of the community, and to establish an annual benchmark for industry progress.

The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and is open to anyone working in the construction industry. All responses are anonymous, and the results and analysis will be shared back with the industry free of charge.

Click here to take the survey and share your experience and perspective on the use of BIM and data. Help contribute to illuminating today's reality and to uncovering opportunities for future progress.
