Hey there — we’re Kinship 👋
We’re building the Revit tools that architects and engineers actually want to use. Our platform helps teams manage their content, track project data, and make smarter decisions without the usual chaos.
We’re looking for a designer who’s obsessed with creating clean, thoughtful, and intuitive interfaces. This role isn’t just about making pretty mockups—it’s about deeply understanding user workflows, prototyping smart solutions, and shipping polished features alongside our engineers.
If you’re someone who’s fluent in Figma, Sketch, or Framer, who loves crafting elegant UIs, and who enjoys dipping into HTML & CSS (without needing to become a full-time coder), you’ll feel right at home here.
In this role, you will:
Own the full design lifecycle for new features—from early concept sketches and wireframes to pixel-perfect, developer-ready UI
Level-up the quality and polish of our interface, ensuring it’s intuitive, fast, and genuinely helpful
Prototype and iterate quickly using Figma, Framer, or your preferred tools to test ideas, interactions, and flows
Collaborate shoulder-to-shoulder with our engineering team to ship features regularly and at high quality
Help refine and evolve our design system, ensuring clarity, consistency, and usability across our product
We think your background probably includes:
Several years (ideally 4+) designing software products, with a portfolio that shows careful attention to detail, beautiful execution, and real-world impact
Mastery of design tools—particularly Figma, Sketch, or Framer. You’re someone who’s deeply comfortable prototyping, testing, and refining UI quickly
Experience designing complex applications—not just simple websites—ideally products with structured data, rich interactions, or detailed user workflows
Familiarity with modern front-end concepts (HTML, CSS, responsive layouts). You don’t need to be an expert coder, but you understand how your designs translate into working interfaces
Experience working closely with developers in product-focused teams. You know how to communicate clearly, hand off designs thoughtfully, and collaborate until it’s right
You’re probably someone who:
Feels excited (not overwhelmed) by complex design challenges and detailed product interactions
Is naturally curious and eager to explore solutions — “Let’s build a quick prototype” might be one of your favourite phrases
Cares deeply about typography, spacing, states, and interaction details—because you know they matter
Values clarity and simplicity above flashy gimmicks
Wants to join a small, ambitious team in person in London and have a genuine influence on our product and culture
