✨ Improved
Improved the Import CSV dialog for Batch Updates. Drop a file anywhere on the page, upload progress is shown and can be cancelled. Validation messages explain issues such as invalid file types, empty files, and files over the 50 MB limit before the import starts.
Updated the Import CSV flow. Submitting a file shows a single confirmation with a View Batch Updates action. Imports that match no records report an error instead of completing silently. Completion notifications are sent only when content actually changed.
Updated the library menu so Import CSV appears only for Content Managers and Admins.
Search on the web app now follows the “Display results from other projects” setting in Team Settings. When the setting is off, search results and filters exclude content from other projects, and the Models option in the Location filter is hidden.
Increased the maximum file size for template uploads to 500 MB.
Updated Template pages. Template page headers now offer the same actions as template cards. Added a Choose Revit Version dialog that lists open and compatible Revit versions when the New from Template action could open in more than one Revit version.
Updated the Templates section so navigating between the listing, template pages, and comments no longer reloads the page.
Project Coordinates are now labeled Survey Point in project settings. A project with no existing Survey Point now inherits the survey point values from its first complete model, and the update is recorded in the project’s history.
Updated family thumbnail uploads on the web app to accept JPG images in addition to PNG.
Improved keyboard and screen reader accessibility across dialogs and Team Settings, with clearer focus styles and keyboard navigation in listings.
Updated the report pages, adding search to the Failed Instances reports and category names to the Failed Families report.
Improved Revit build recognition with support for Revit 2027.2, Revit 2026.5, and Revit 2024.3.6.
🔧 Fixed
Fixed issues where family thumbnails could fail to update after editing a family in the Revit Add-in or re-uploading an image, and where list and collection tiles could show missing thumbnails, ensuring thumbnails display and update correctly.

Fixed an issue where using Undo again after approving families could apply the approval to every family in Pending Approval, ensuring Undo only affects the families from the original action.
Fixed an issue where content from a restricted collection assigned to a project could be missing from search in the Revit Add-in, ensuring newly granted content appears after the next sync.
Fixed issues where search in the Revit Add-in could fail while projects or collections were still loading, ensuring search results display reliably.
Fixed an issue where switching a team's Kinship Version Channel from Beta to Stable did not move add-in installations back to the stable release, ensuring installations follow the selected channel.
Fixed an issue where signing in could fail after changing your password, ensuring the new password works immediately.
Fixed an issue where sorting families by name could follow internal names instead of the displayed names, ensuring lists sort in the order you see.
Fixed an issue where system family subtypes, such as specific stair types, were missing from discipline pages, ensuring they appear with their parent categories.
Fixed an issue where editing a template's name or details cleared its Last Updated date, ensuring the date reflects the latest change.
Fixed an issue where material pages for grouped families could show the wrong thumbnail and Revit version, ensuring the page matches the version you can load.
Fixed an issue where the contents of Schedule families could fail to load, ensuring schedule data is available.
Fixed an issue where library families upgraded to a newer Revit version reported Collection as their source in the Revit Add-in details panel, with a View in Kinship link that did not open, ensuring upgraded families report their source as Library and link correctly.
Fixed an issue where Survey Point metadata from Revit models in German was not recognized, ensuring coordinates from those models appear in Kinship.
Fixed an issue where the Last Updated details on model and project summary pages could wrap onto separate lines, ensuring they display correctly.

🚀 New: Project Templates
Project Templates lets teams store Revit project templates in the Kinship library and start new models from them.
How it works
The Library home page now shows a Project Templates section with the most recent templates and a See All link to view all of your team’s templates.
Each template has its own page with description, information, comments, and its available Revit versions.
The + Create Template button opens a dialog to add a new template. You can upload .rte or .rvt files, add multiple files for different Revit versions, as well as edit the name, image and color for the template.
You can add a description to a template from its detail page by clicking on Edit Info under the More menu in the top right, or by clicking on the + Add Description button in the About section.
Template files can be downloaded, updated, opened for editing, or deleted for each Revit version.
The New from Template button starts a new Revit model from the template. This will default to creating the model in your active Revit version. You can also click on a specific Revit version of the template to create a new model in that version.
Availability
Everyone can browse templates and create new models from templates.
Only Content Managers or Admins can add and manage templates.
Limits
Templates can be .rte or .rvt files, and the latter either central or non-central models.
Newly added templates will appear for use only once their upload finishes processing.
